EnviroScreen G3 - Optimum has a woven screen-like construction, but with a clear textile appearance. Thanks to high reflectivity (74%), EnviroScreen Optimum lowers heating and cooling costs substantially. This results in a reduction of CO2 emissions, and therefore minimizes the greenhouse effect. EnviroScreen G3 - Optimum is Öko-Tex and Greenguard Certified.

The fabric in the EnviroScreen collection is extremely robust in contruction and metallised for solar control. Polyester yarn is woven in a new screen-like construction that combines a limited openness factor with excellent view to the outside. EnviroScreen provides visual and thermal comfort while maintaining a look with a textile character. EnviroScreen Optimum is the latest innovation in this screen collection. It is a durable product; It is formaldehyde and PVC free and 100% recyclable. The new Optimum material is Cradle to Cradle certified and is our most sustainable product contributing to LEED (USA) certification, Green Star (Australia) and Breeam (United Kingdom).

GLOSSARY OF TERMINOLOGY

SOLAR REFLECTION

De verhouding of percentage zonne-energie dat wordt gereflecteerd door de aluminiumzijde van de verosol-stof. Afkortingen: Rs, Rsol. Hoe hoger het getal, hoe beter.

OPENNESS FACTOR

Het percentage open gebied (poriën) voor het totale gebied van de stof. Deze poriën zijn nodig om doorzicht mogelijk te maken. Afkorting: OF. Hoe hoger het nummer, hoe beter het zicht er doorheen.

U-VALUE

Thermisch warmteverlies (of winst) door een raam. De U-waarde weerspiegelt de energiestroom door glas en de binnenzonwering wanneer er een temperatuurverschil is tussen buiten en binnen, en is de isolerende eigenschap. IR EMISSIVITY

De verhouding of percentage zichtbaar licht dat door de facade gaat. Afkortingen: Tv, Tvis., LT-Value Hoe lager het getal, hoe beter.
